As Chief Operating Officer of Clark Wilson LLP, a major Vancouver law firm with 85 lawyers and more than 150 staff, Colin was directly responsible for the governance, financial management, partner compensation, and strategic direction that helped Clark Wilson become one of the most profitable law firms in the city. He didn't advise on those things. He built and ran those systems for over 20 years.
After two decades in the chair, Colin founded Profits for Partners to bring that same depth of practical expertise to smaller firms that deserve it but can't justify or afford a full-time COO.

Earlier in his career, Colin worked as a Chartered Accountant with Thorne Riddell (a KPMG predecessor), providing audit and tax services as well as technology consulting across a range of industries.
